Editorial and AI standards

Last reviewed: October 10, 2026

PreachReady uses artificial intelligence to create preparation material. Generated text can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular theology or congregation. These standards describe what the product checks, what it does not guarantee, and what every user should verify.

Scripture and theology

  • Treat generated interpretation as a starting point for study, never as authority.
  • Read cited passages in context and compare them with the translation used by your congregation.
  • Evaluate every theological claim within your tradition, convictions, and pastoral responsibilities.
  • Do not present generated material as a substitute for prayer, study, counsel, or knowledge of your congregation.

Factual claims and sources

Names, dates, quotations, statistics, historical accounts, scientific claims, and cultural references should be checked against reliable primary or authoritative sources before public use. A generated citation or attribution is not proof that a source exists or supports the claim.

Quotations

Social Export checks quote illustrations against the supplied source text before saving output. That safeguard does not verify the original publication, authorship, translation, or wider context. Users should still confirm quotations against the original source.

Generated sermon material

Sermon drafts, outlines, illustrations, titles, study notes, and applications require human review. Users should revise language to reflect their own voice, theology, congregation, and pastoral context before preaching or publishing.

Corrections and feedback

If a public PreachReady page contains an inaccurate claim, misleading attribution, or broken source, report it through the contact page or email [email protected]. Include the page URL and the evidence supporting the correction.

Transparency

PreachReady does not claim that generated material has been reviewed by a theologian or fact-checker unless a page explicitly names that reviewer and describes the review performed. Customer outcomes and testimonials are not published without permission and attribution.
