Questions pastors ask us
Where do its answers about our church come from?
From you: your public website, synced weekly, plus anything you paste and the facts you type in. If none of that answers a question, it says it does not know and points to your contact page.
Can it contradict our teaching?
It answers inside the positions you set, and anything you mark refer to pastor it declines and hands to a human. Every conversation carries a standing reminder to test everything against Scripture.
What do you store?
Conversations are kept 90 days so your digest can cluster them, then only anonymous topic counts remain. Content is never sold; crisis messages are never stored at all.
Does it replace pastoral care?
No, and it is built not to. Talk to a pastor and prayer request are permanent buttons, heavy topics route to you by design, and the Monday digest exists to help you shepherd better in person.
What should we call it for our congregation?
Call it yours. On your site the header reads "Ask {your church name}" and every word is editable. Shepherd is our name for the product, not what your people see.
What if we cancel?
